Job summary

Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics is seeking an EMG Tech Nerve Conduction Specialist for our Neurology Clinic in Salem. Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist within one year of hire.
• BLS certification.
• Two years' clinical experience in health care.

Responsibilities

• Perform nerve conduction studies on common and uncommon nerves under physician supervision.
• Recognize normal vs abnormal results and troubleshoot artifacts and technical issues.
• Prepare patients and rooms, explain procedures clearly and compassionately.
• Assist EMG physicians during needle examinations and support procedures as needed.
• Maintain EMG equipment, identify malfunctions and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Manage inventory and supplies, coordinate orders and verify deliveries.
• Support lab operations with instruments and supplies for testing.
• Coordinate patient scheduling, confirmations, and education for testing.
• Handle daily office tasks such as answering phones and scanning medical records.
