Job summary

HNTB is seeking a planning data analyst in Indianapolis, IN to apply planning strategies, gather and analyze data, and develop reporting and visuals to communicate findings. The role supports transportation and infrastructure projects through GIS-driven analysis and data presentation.

You will assist with planning studies from concept to completion, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, conducting research, and preparing documents and exhibits for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field is required.
• Familiarity with GIS and the Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
• Ability to compile, summarize and present data for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of the data for use in projects.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team members with maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reporting.
• Contributes to planning study documentation from concept development through project completion.
• Maintains records and supports stakeholder and public participation processes.
