Job summary
BDR Solutions, LLC is seeking a Junior UI/UX Specialist to support a DoD customer, contributing to design, development, and enhancement of user-centered digital solutions. You will blend visual design with user experience principles to improve engagement and mission effectiveness, partnering with government stakeholders, software teams, and program leadership in a secure environment.
Active TS/SCI clearance and CI Polygraph are required. DoD/federal program experience is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, HCI, UX Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
- 1–3 years of professional UI/UX design experience for web/mobile.
- Experience creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
- Proficiency with design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch.
- Knowledge of UCD methodologies, user research, IA, usability testing, responsive design.
- Strong presentations and visuals; excellent communication.
- Collaborative work in cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile.
- Create deliverables: FRDs, guides, docs, briefs, presentations.
- Produce wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and flows.
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 and responsive design.
- Document design rationale and journeys.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, stakeholders.
- Support Agile ceremonies and process improvements.
