Job summary

BDR Solutions, LLC is seeking a Junior UI/UX Specialist to support a Department of Defense customer. You will design user-centered interfaces, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes while ensuring accessibility and responsive design in a secure environment.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, designers, and developers across programs, with a focus on usability, documentation, and design consistency. Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Design user interfaces for web and mobile with wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
• Experience with accessibility and responsive design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including government stakeholders and developers.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create and maintain deliverables: FRDs, training guides, user documentation, briefing materials, visuals.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, information architectures, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility and responsive design principles.
• Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to design system improvements.
