Job summary

BDR Solutions, LLC seeks a Junior UI/UX Specialist to design user-centered interfaces for DoD digital solutions. You will collaborate with government stakeholders, designers, and developers to deliver professional interfaces, wireframes, and documentation while adhering to accessibility standards.

The role emphasizes A11y, responsive design, and strong communication. TS/SCI clearance and CI poly are required; DoD program experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, HCI, UX Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
• 1–3 years of professional UI/UX design for web/mobile.
• Experience creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch.
• Knowledge of user-centered design, information architecture, usability testing, responsive design.
• Strong presentations, graphics, and visual communications skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• Collaborative work within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces for web and mobile apps.
• Create and maintain deliverables: FRDs, guides, docs, briefs, visuals.
• Produce wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows.
• Develop system diagrams, flows, and multimedia content.
• Support UAT planning, testing, and feedback collection.
• Ensure accessibility (Section 508) and responsive design compliance.
• Collaborate with product, government stakeholders, and developers.
• Assist in Agile ceremonies and design reviews.
