Great American Insurance Group's Emerging Technology Team is seeking a Summer Intern for 2027. This hybrid role blends in‑office collaboration with remote work to advance innovative tech initiatives.

Responsibilities include researching AI, blockchain, or quantum computing; collecting and preprocessing data; documenting experiments; and collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field with 2029 or 2030 graduation preferred.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization, cloud/API development, and Agile methods.

The Emerging Technology Team is seeking an Intern for summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Research and Analysis: Investigate cutting-edge technologies such as AI, blockchain, or quantum computing, and summarize findings to support product strategy or innovation initiatives.
• Data Collection and Cleaning: Support data-driven projects by gathering, organizing, and preprocessing datasets for use in machine learning models or analytics dashboards.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create clear documentation for experiments, prototypes, and research findings to ensure knowledge transfer and team alignment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with product managers, engineers, and designers to contribute to brainstorming sessions, sprint planning, and team reviews.
• Could include: Prototype Development: Assist in building proof‑of‑concept prototypes using tools like Python, JavaScript, or low‑code platforms to explore new tech applications.

Requirements

• Ability to work in the office at minimum three days a week.

Education

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Management, or related 2029 or 2030 graduation year preferred.
