Job summary

New York City Transit is seeking an Operations Support, Emerging Talent Intern to help design a centralized Workforce Management System using Microsoft Power Apps. The role emphasizes timekeeping, leave administration, and workforce visibility at the Brooklyn location.

You’ll work onsite with a requirement of at least 20 hours per week, contributing to dashboards, forms digitization, and training materials while collaborating with department staff.

Qualifications

• Must be matriculated in an undergraduate or graduate program with minimum GPA thresholds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; Power Platform skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical, data interpretation and documentation abilities.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing components of a Workforce Management System for Timekeeping.
• Digitize timekeeping forms and streamline related processes.
• Observe workflows and document opportunities for improvement.
• Create quarterly training materials and internal communications.
• Enter employee time and leave data into the system accurately.
• Support focus groups with materials and follow-up tasks.
• Maintain a centralized repository for timekeeping resources.
• Analyze workforce data to support planning and enhancements.
