Job summary

City of New York seeks a Junior Talent Development Specialist to support mentoring administration, LMS operations, and performance management initiatives. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Talent & Leadership Development and helps drive career development and program enhancements.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented, with a passion for learning, talent, and organizational development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field and experience in research is preferred.
• Experience with data gathering, organizing and reporting is required or an equivalent combination.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mentoring program administration, scheduling, and participant communications.
• Provide LMS administration: create courses, enrollments, and reports.
• Support performance management administrations and evaluations processes.
• Assist with succession planning and talent review activities.
• Coordinate career development program logistics and communications.

Education

Baccalaureate degree

Associate degree or 60 credits

HS diploma with experience
