Job summary

Goodwill Manasota, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training to develop leadership skills in a retail environment. You’ll design eLearning, maintain brand consistency, and guide team members to deliver excellent service.

You’ll supervise staff, manage store operations, and ensure safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction while advancing through a structured development plan within our mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience in a business (retail) setting preferred.
• Associate’s Degree in business or related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure open and honest communication and maintain a safe, compliant workplace.
• Hire, train, supervise, develop, and evaluate team members within Goodwill policies.
• Develop and supervise Assistant Team Leaders (ATLs) and Front-End Key Holders for future advancement.
• Manage store operations within budgeted expense to revenue ratios and donor value.
• Maintain compliance with CARF standards and ensure proper handling of donations.
