Job summary

Walgreens in Tacoma, WA seeks an experienced Store Operations Leader to supervise customer service associates and manage front-end/store activities, including pharmacy and retail operations. You will partner with the Store Manager, schedule flexibly, and ensure merchandising, asset protection, and profitability.

You will lead team development, conduct performance reviews, recruit and train, and drive customer experience improvements with data-driven decisions, while ensuring compliance with laws

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (any major) or Walgreens Community Internship Program completed.
Two years of supervisory experience (not required to have direct reports).
Completion of Store Manager LEAP or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

Lead and train store team, including recruitment, performance management, and discipline.
Engage customers and patients, resolve complaints, and model service best practices.
Oversee store operations, scheduling, cash handling, and inventory management.
Analyze financial data and KPIs to drive store improvements and profitability.
Support Pharmacy during busy periods and ensure regulatory compliance.
