Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; culinary arts training preferred.
• 3–5 years of supervisory or kitchen management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA rules and statewide school nutrition requirements desired.

Responsibilities

• Plans and supervises the operation of an assigned school cafeteria for meals and services.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations on sanitation, nutrition, and food safety.
• Maintains inventory, records, and meal program administration including Free and Reduced Price meals.
