Job summary

Zeta Charter Schools is seeking a Resident Assistant Principal to lead a grade team and develop other educators in New York City. This on-site role offers a salary between $92,000 and $96,000 with a discretionary annual bonus potential, reporting to the Principal and supported by Network Leaders.

As a first-time school leader, you will drive instructional excellence, build strong relationships, and shape systems with the leadership team to ensure student success across Bronx, Upper Manhattan,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience.
• Experience leading or developing other educators (coaching/mentoring).
• Deep instructional expertise with a vision for excellence across grades/content areas.
• Experience using student work, data, and observations to identify gaps and drive mastery.
• Proven ability to develop people and build high-performing teams.
• Strong judgment and ability to navigate complex challenges with urgency.
• High expectations and deep ownership of team performance and student success.
