Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an REM Specialist to join our Resilience and Emergency Management Team in Tampa, FL. This entry-level role supports public-sector clients through disaster recovery, hazard mitigation, resilience planning, emergency management, grants management, and technical analysis, contributing to project delivery and stakeholder coordination.

You will collect and analyze data, prepare reports, and support specialized services such as FEMA and HUD grant programs while collaborating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (emergency management, planning, public policy, GIS, or related).
• 0–2 years of professional or internship experience in emergency management or related fields.
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, analyze, and maintain data to support project delivery and client objectives.
• Support grant and program activities, including applications, administration, reimbursement documentation, compliance reviews, and cost reconciliation.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, hazard mitigation, resilience, emergency management, and planning projects through research and coordination.
