Job summary

TRISO-X in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in a growth-oriented program management track. You will support planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale, first-of-a-kind nuclear projects under senior leadership, collaborating across engineering, licensing, quality, manufacturing, and operations to maintain schedules and budgets.

You’ll develop project controls skills, gain exposure to risk analysis, and progressively assume greater responsibility as you communicate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, construction sciences, PM or related field.
• Basic knowledge of project execution practices and interface management.
• Developing experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong interest in AI tools and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, coordination, and execution of complex projects within scope and budget.
• Track deliverables, interfaces, decisions, and issues to support execution.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and cross-functional partners.
• Identify risks and help develop mitigation strategies.
• Support make/buy decisions and supplier coordination.
• Ensure compliance with processes, quality, and regulatory expectations.
• Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
