KLA Industries seeks an Assistant Project Manager for heavy civil/highway construction in the Richmond, VA area. You’ll be paired with a Senior PM, taking real responsibility from day one—managing submittals, RFIs, procurement, quantities and costs to keep schedules on track.

Requirements include 3–10 years in relevant projects, a B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and a valid driver’s license with local travel. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifikationen

• 3–10 years on heavy civil, highway, or utility projects.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field experience.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record; travel is primarily local.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Richmond area (relocation assistance available for the right candidate).
• Experience with scheduling and cost tracking is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Drive submittals, RFIs, and procurement schedules to keep field crews ahead.
• Coordinate subcontractors and supplier purchase orders to protect schedule.
• Track quantities, production, and costs against budget — and flag variances early.
• Support monthly payment requisitions, cost projections, and project documentation.
• Sit in weekly project team meetings covering schedule and cost review.
• Support a safety culture that's instilled at every level of the project.
