Job summary

Silicon Valley Recruiting LLC is seeking a Junior Field Applications Engineer (FAE) for PCB Manufacturing in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on supporting customers and engineering teams through PCB design for manufacturability, stack-up reviews, and process guidance.

The ideal candidate has hands-on PCB experience, familiarity with IPC standards, and a willingness to travel for customer meetings and factory visits.

Qualifications

• Professional hands-on experience working with PCBs.
• Experience in PCB fabrication, front-end engineering, process engineering, quality engineering, or PCB FAE roles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide DFM and stack-up support to design teams for new products and existing designs.
• Review fabrication drawings, specs and requirements to ensure alignment with production capabilities.
• Participate in customer design reviews and suggest manufacturability improvements.
• Coordinate PCB materials, fabrication processes and tolerances with customers and manufacturing teams.
• Assist in investigations of PCB quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
