Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Typically 0–3 years of related experience in systems administration, IT support, or cybersecurity in an enterprise environment.
Understanding of basic patch management concepts and familiarity with common tools (e.g., WSUS, SCCM).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Candidates must have a current secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Identify, test, and deploy OS and application updates across enterprise endpoints using patch tools.
Coordinate routine and emergency patch cycles, including testing, approvals, and maintenance windows.
Monitor patch compliance reports and work with admins to remediate non-compliant systems.
Understand dependencies between endpoints, servers, and networks when planning deployments.
Assist with automated patch workflows, scheduling, and documenting results for audits.
Maintain baselines, deployment procedures, and SOPs for repeatable operations.
Collaborate with cybersecurity to align patching with threats and security policies.
