Job summary

Nebraska Public Power District is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner I or II to provide HR support at Gerald Gentleman Station in Sutherland, Nebraska. This role supports employment, recruiting, employee relations, coaching, workforce planning, and training in a developing pathway to HRBP II with opportunities for growth.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and relevant HR experience; certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field strongly preferred.
• For HRBP I, a minimum of two years direct HR-related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line professional and strategic HR support to employees, management, and business units across HR areas (employment, recruiting, employee relations, coaching/counseling, workforce planning, succession planning, training).
• Coordinate recruitment, participate in interview teams, conduct new employee orientations, and manage offers and processing for hires, transfers, and terminations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field

Two years direct HR-related experience (I)
