Job summary

Hatch in Pittsburgh, PA seeks a Junior Electrical Engineer to support the Project Delivery Group from our Pittsburgh office. You will help develop electrical construction documents for diverse projects and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, in-person environment with occasional remote work.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with a degree in electrical engineering, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and a passion for learning and safety.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate with relevant electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical construction documents for water/wastewater, technology facilities, rapid transit, port facilities, industrial plants, and surveillance projects.
• Create electrical calculations, studies, modeling, construction plans, and specs; supervise construction activities.
• Learn power distribution, instrumentation, control systems, switchgear, NEC compliance, and SCADA/telemetry.
• Gain on-site practical experience while collaborating with engineers on multi-disciplinary projects.
