Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer for our Tampa, FL office to support the Project Delivery Group. You will collaborate with engineers on electrical construction documents for diverse projects while developing practical on-site experience and technical knowledge.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety and hands-on learning, with mentorship from senior engineers. In-office work is primary, with flexibility to work remotely when needed to meet project needs.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 (4.0 scale).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical construction documents for water/wastewater and facilities.
• Create electrical calculations, engineering studies, models, constructions plans, specs.
• Gain knowledge in power distribution, instrumentation, switchgear, standby power, fault current, SCADA, NEC.
• Gain valuable on-site practical experience.
