Job summary

W. W. Gay Mechanical Contractor, Inc. is seeking an up-and-coming project manager to support multiple projects across design, estimating, billing, execution, change management, and closeout.

You will assist the project manager with contract review, scheduling, submittals, and project documentation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.

Strong proficiency with Procore and MS Office, excellent communication, and a detail-oriented work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and materials in multiple projects.
• Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
• Actively pursuing an associate degree or higher in a construction-related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project manager with contract review and execution.
• Assist with project financial setup and operational setup in software.
• Assist with schedule review and analysis.
• Assist with the submittal process, including log setup, review, corrections, and distribution to project vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist with setup, maintenance, and distribution of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and RFIs.
• Assist with all aspects of change management.
• Assist with estimating, including project changes or work beyond project scope.
• Assist with procurement of materials.
• Manage project closeout, create maintenance and operation manuals, and other closeout documents at project completion.
• Understand and complete tasks within company/project timelines and take directions from supervisor/manager.
