Arlington Properties is seeking an Assistant Community Manager at a Waterford Crossing, Cane Ridge, TN location. This role supports the Community Manager in leasing, daily operations, and supervising the team, while taking the lead in the manager’s absence and driving resident satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in leasing/property management, strong communication and organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; college coursework preferred.
• Experience in the Assistant Community role (1+ year strongly preferred).
• Experience in leasing, sales, or property management (1+ years strongly preferred).
• Strong communicator with proven organizational and leadership abilities.
• Knowledgeable in Fair Housing laws and customer service best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using property management systems.
• Reliable, flexible, and eager to make an impact.
• Licensed to drive, insured, and ready to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in leasing, operations, and team supervision
• Take full responsibility for the community in the manager’s absence
• Process rent payments, invoices, and resident documentation
• Assist with resident retention efforts and event planning
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations
• Monitor property condition and make improvement recommendations
• Serve as a role model to peers and help maintain high operational standards
