We defend healthcare providers against malpractice claims and respond to licensing investigations, offering mentorship and exposure to all phases of litigation for new lawyers and early-career associates.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience, with a hybrid remote work option in Seattle and a start-up path into trial practice under senior trial attorneys.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Bar License or pending admission (state bar).
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Interest in litigation and trial practice.

Responsibilities

• Research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Review and analyze medical records.
• Meet with clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
• Assist with depositions and hearings.
• Prepare trial briefs, jury instructions, and other pre-trial documents.
• Support attorneys in all phases of litigation.
• Assist at trial and develop courtroom advocacy skills.
• Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
