Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Program Operations Specialist for Evangeline's House in Washington. This full-time temporary, non-exempt role supports up to six foster care youth and emerging adults (ages 10-20) in emergency placements for up to 30 days, providing shelter, meals, supervision, and stability.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, two years working with youth, CPR/First Aid, and various background checks.

Qualifications

• Two years of successful experience working with youth.
• CPR/First Aid training recommended and required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly staff meetings & trainings.
• Directly supervise youth in care.
• Communicate program needs & client needs to supervisors.
• Actively lead and participate in clients daily activities (meals, sports, learning activities).
• Document clients’ daily activities and outcomes.
• Follow posted schedules and safety policies (HIPAA/WAC).
• Maintain facility security and cleanliness; support with on-call shifts.
• All other duties as assigned.
