BluePearl Pet Hospital is looking for an Emergency Veterinary Technician Manager with passion and the ability to motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and advancement through our leveling system.

We offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends.

Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician Manager, you will:

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate and maintain related skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood and met.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to technicians and assistants regarding daily operations, patient care, and skills development.
• Identify workplace conflicts and seek resolution to foster effective working relationships.
• Coach staff to promote high performance and productivity.
• Communicate effectively with team members about protocols, policies, and changes.
• Build positive relationships across the hospital and administration to promote teamwork.
• Implement process improvements.
• Coordinate ongoing training with the Technician Training Manager.
• Document performance issues, conduct annual reviews, and advise hospital leadership on performance management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
