The Role:

The Chemical Technician Manager plays a critical role in customer engagement and retention. They are responsible for ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, troubleshooting and resolving immediate issues, proactively addressing potential problems, and identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience. This is a remote position overseeing a team of chemical technicians responsible for 50-75 sites per month across 7 states.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert solutions to customers to support profitable business operations and ensure customer satisfaction with our cleaning services.
• Site preventative care and troubleshooting, including titration of products, volume metrics, and minor chemical equipment repairs.
• Manage customer satisfaction by scheduling and dispatching site chemical conversions and installations, and keeping customers informed of progress.
• Train chemical technicians and monitor customer levels, inventory, and replenishment orders.
• Maintain wash key reporting and conduct site surveys using standardized templates.
• Support corporate accounts and execute revenue programs as per protocols.
• Provide on-site training for revenue programs and basic technical and chemistry training for location personnel.
• Maintain accurate customer records and issue logs using various digital platforms.
• Analyze customer outputs and recommend technical updates or efficiency improvements.

Customer Expansion:

Identify opportunities for account growth, conduct initial discussions, and communicate findings to sales management.

This role requires compliance with OSHA, EPA, local regulations, and company safety policies. Management may adjust duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or higher.
• Reside in the Minneapolis, MN, Omaha, NE, or Kansas City, MO area and within 30 miles of a major airport, with the ability to travel extensively.
• Experience in car wash industry preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and self-motivation.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 annually.
