Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in Snohomish, WA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician for our 24/7 emergency team. This full-time day-shift role includes Sunday through Tuesday, 7a-8p with flexibility for 4–10 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician in WA state or pending licensure.
• 2 years of continuous veterinary technician/assistant experience.
• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Desire to practice empathetic, gold standard medicine benefiting our patients.
• Team oriented with the ability to collaborate and support each other.
• Are paw-sitive, kind and provide trustworthy communication to the patients, team members and clients.
• Desire to constantly grow and advance as a veterinary technician!

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures while maintaining patient flow and safety.
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options.
• Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
• Obtain health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques and sustain clean, sterile treatment areas.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
