Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency care team. You will work with doctors to triage, treat, monitor, and support patients and their families in high-stress situations.

You will perform nursing duties, administer medications and IV therapies, and assist in anesthesia and critical care. We value growth, teamwork, and compassionate, patient-centered care across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be credentialed as a Veterinary Technician in the state of practice.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 kg (assistance up to 40 kg), and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Administer meds, IVs, CRIs, and blood products as needed.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, imaging, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain smooth care flow.
• Perform CPR and respond effectively in emergencies.
