Job summary

VEG ER for Pets in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join a fast-paced ER team. You will work on the front lines of emergency veterinary care, handling cases from minor to complex emergencies together with doctors and hospital staff.

The role involves triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, with opportunities to grow skills and impact pets and their families during stressful moments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA-accredited program strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician in the state (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) required; VTS in ECC or anesthesia/analgesia a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat a wide range of emergency cases.
• Provide nursing care, monitoring, and emotional support from admission to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care nursing.
