Thrive Pet Healthcare's Metropolitan Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Rockville, MD is hiring full-time Veterinary Technicians for our Dayshift Emergency team. You’ll provide urgent patient care, triage, diagnostic testing, monitoring, and support for treatments while guiding clients through emergencies.

The role requires at least 2 years of clinical veterinary experience; active CVT/RVT/LVT preferred; strong anesthesia skills; and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• CVT/RVT/LVT active and current preferred.
• Experience in an Emergency Veterinary Setting strongly preferred.
• Strong anesthesia skills with BP, ECG, SpO2 and EtCO2 interpretation.
• Positive work attitude, self-motivated, and excellent communication.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Triage urgent cases and deliver critical patient care in emergencies.
• Perform diagnostic testing and monitor critical patients.
• Support treatments and procedures under veterinarian supervision.
• Guide clients through every step of the emergency visit.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely, high-quality care.
