PetVet Care Centers’ Animal Emergency Clinic - O’Fallon is seeking a Dayshift Veterinary Technician to join our 24/7 emergency team in O’Fallon, MO. This role offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 based on experience and credentials, with flexible day schedules and opportunities in surgery, radiology, and exotics support.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant veterinary experience
• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or RVT preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients
• Greet patients and owners, record weights and vitals on arrival
• Triage patients, perform exams, treatments, and assist with medications as directed by licensed staff
• Calm and soothe anxious patients
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications or restraints
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs
• Maintain hospital equipment and medical records
• Adhere to safety and wellness regulations
• Show up for full-time shifts as scheduled
