Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Animal Emergency Clinic in O’Fallon is hiring for a Veterinary Technician/Assistant on the day shift. The role supports hospital operations with compassionate patient care, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with licensed staff. A sign-on bonus is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant veterinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients and greet clients upon arrival.
• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Triage patients and assist with medications and treatments as directed by licensed staff.
• Maintain medical records and ensure proper documentation and safety of medications.
• Assist with lab work, radiographs, and cleaning/maintenance of equipment.
