PetVet Care Centers' Animal Emergency Clinic – O'Fallon is seeking a Veterinary Technician (Overnight/Swing) to join our team in MO. This 24/7 emergency hospital offers after-hours care with a shift differential for overnight work and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of experience in veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, weigh patients and record vital signs.
• Triage patients, perform physical exams, treatments, and administer medications as directed by licensed staff.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications and restraints.
• Perform lab tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain medical records and hospital cleanliness.
• Promote hospital products and services and support the organization.
