PetVet Care Centers' Animal Emergency Clinic - O'Fallon is seeking a Dayshift Veterinary Assistant to join our team. You will support veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks, care for patients, and help ensure a positive experience for clients.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Relevant veterinary experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and their owners, record weight and vital signs.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medications or patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Maintain hospital equipment and keep medical records accurate.
• Promote hospital products and services and support the organization.

Skills

Relevant veterinary experience

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

CVT/LVT/RVT/LVMT preferred
