Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health Racine/Kenosha is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician for emergency coverage on 3rd shift or late night hours. You will perform triage, rapid trauma assessment, diagnostics, and stabilization while supporting the veterinary team and ensuring compassionate client service.

This role expects 3–5 years in a veterinary hospital, with CVT credentials preferred and strong skills in phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning.

Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician credentials highly preferred.
• Emergency or Specialty experience highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and develop long-term relationships.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, with strong client service.
• Strong technical skills including phlebotomy, medication calculations, and radiology positioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled patient care through triage, rapid trauma assessment, diagnostics, emergency stabilization, and ongoing nursing support.
• Apply technical abilities across responsibilities such as patient restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to provide coordinated patient care.
• Foster a positive, collaborative hospital environment.
