Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join the front lines of emergency care, delivering gold-standard, emotionally intelligent support across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing. You’ll be a steady presence for pet parents in stressful moments and collaborate with doctors and the team.

You’ll work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; AVMA-accredited associate degree preferred
• CVT/RVT/LVMT credential in the practice state required; VTS in ECC/anesthesia a plus
• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician; emergency or specialty medicine preferred
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with practice management software and EMR
• Excellent communicator, calm under pressure; able to assist team and patients

Mansioni

• Triage and treat patients with high levels of care and compassion
• Provide nursing care and support during treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions and other procedures
• Communicate effectively with team and help shape care plans
• Perform advanced techniques and support anesthesia as needed
• Utilize diagnostics, imaging, sample collection and management of equipment
• Ensure patient and client comfort and safety during procedures
