Job summary

MedVet is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Technician Assistant on a contingent basis to join our fast-paced ER team. This role supports veterinarians and technicians, ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care and compassionate client communication.

The position offers a hiring range of $15-16.50 per hour based on experience. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication, and prior veterinary experience.

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Never a dull moment in theER!Ourpatients need constant supervision to ensure treatment plans are executed. This department is perfect forsomeone who can identifypatientdistress and react accordingly, enjoysassisting with recovery and client follow up and education.

What you’ll do:

• Ensure patients receive qualitycare
• Ensure documentation is accurate andcomplete
• Oversight/care for stablepatients
• Assist Veterinary Technicians with patientrestraint
• Manage the restocking of supplies for clinicalteams
• Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs ofdepartment
