Our Nursing Veterinary Assistant role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care, monitoring hospitalized patients, and educating clients. The team values teamwork, leadership, and compassion as they support patient care and client communication.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience required.
• Nursing or critical care experience desired.
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, CRIs, unit conversions).
• Flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver organized rounds, discuss cases and gather information.
• Partner with patient care team on treatment plans and client communication.
• Provide client education on home care, medications, and wellness.
• Assist DVM with patient assessment and procedures.
• Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients.
• Perform in-house lab testing and prep samples.
