Job summary

VEG is seeking a Lead Emergency Veterinarian to own clinical excellence, mentor doctors, and lead VEG's medical processes across the hospital. You will champion VEG's patient-centered care and work with the Medical Director to uphold high standards in diagnoses and treatment.

You will manage staff growth, schedule planning, and ensure top-tier patient care while fostering a collaborative, fast-paced environment for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree required.
• 2+ years ER experience with critical case management.
• Leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to lead and support fellow doctors and handle admin tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work clinical shifts as an emergency doctor.
• Coach doctors on medical excellence and VEG's ways.
• Lead monthly doctor meetings and M&M rounds.
• Create doctor schedules and manage leaves well in advance.
• Address customer complaints related to medical concerns.
