Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking dedicated veterinary nursing professionals for our emergency hospital locations across the United States. You will provide compassionate nursing care, monitor patients, and assist with anesthesia under supervision, contributing to high-quality emergency care for pets and support for their families.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with peers, customers and team.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to new scenarios.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency setting with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic to intermediate nursing care and patient monitoring.
• Triage incoming patients using clinical assessment and monitoring.
• Administer medications and manage IV fluids with supervision.
• Assist in anesthesia setup, monitoring, and recovery under supervision.
• Collaborate with licensed veterinary technicians as part of the care team.
• Participate in rounds to ensure continuity of care.
• Pursue additional training paths for roles beyond direct nursing care.
