Job summary

You will work closely with licensed veterinary technicians and veterinarians to deliver high-quality nursing care and diagnostics in a supportive, employee-centric culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care and patient monitoring.
• Triage incoming patients using clinical assessment.
• Administer medications (subcutaneous, intramuscular, IV) and monitor effects.
• Set up and oversee IV fluid therapy and transfusions.
• Support outpatient and inpatient care as part of a team.
• Participate in patient rounds for continuity of care.
• Perform CPR and resuscitation procedures as trained.
• Assist with anesthesia under supervision.
• Gather samples and perform in-house diagnostics and imaging.
• Assist in sedation and anesthesia setup and monitoring.
• Manage urinary catheters and oxygen delivery devices.
• Collaborate with licensed veterinary technicians and other staff.
• Pursue additional training for expanded roles (trainer, leadership, outreach).
