BluePearl Pet Hospital in Brooklyn, NYC seeks an Emergency Veterinary Assistant for the front-half of the week. Schedule: 7am–7pm, Sun–Tue plus every other Wed.

Pay ranges from $22.50 to $32.80 per hour with competitive shift differentials. You will triage emergencies, assist the DVM with estimates, perform diagnostics, support ICU and inpatient care, discharge patients, and communicate with clients about care plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency veterinary settings or high-volume clinics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage emergency cases and assist DVM with estimations and patient care.
• Perform diagnostics (radiographs, lab work) and support ICU/Inpatient care.
• Discharge clients and provide clear client communication.
