The Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to manage a wide range of emergencies, surgeries, and exotic cases in a fast-paced VEG hospital. You will be supported by a mentorship-focused culture and ongoing VEG Education programs, with access to comprehensive CE and on-floor guidance.

Qualifications

DVM or equivalent degree required.
Emergency medicine and emergency surgery experience preferred.
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented ER environment.
Comfort with endoscopy and managing diverse species, including exotics.

Responsibilities

Answer medical questions and triage patients.
Handle emergencies and perform surgeries as needed.
Gather signalment, vitals, and exam findings.
Create diagnostic and therapeutic plans and discuss options with clients.
Prepare treatment estimates and document medical records.
Educate clients on aftercare and prevention.
