Qualifications

• As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will be involved in high‑pressure emergency care and critical patient support.
• You should be proficient in anesthesia monitoring, triage, venous access, and vital signs interpretation.
• You will mentor and train co‑workers while delivering compassionate care to pets and reassurance to families.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
• Triage emergency cases, obtain vitals (temp, HR, RR, BP).
• Perform digital radiography with proper patient positioning.
• Understand normal vital sign ranges and alert veterinarians to changes.
• Identify at-risk patients and initiate CPR when needed.
• Place IV catheters and perform phlebotomy.
• Place feeding tubes and central lines as required.
• Mentor and train co-workers and address client concerns.
