Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Henderson, NV is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our 24/7 emergency team. You’ll perform triage, treatments, anesthesia, diagnostic support, and critical care nursing for a wide range of urgent cases, while providing compassionate care to pets and their families.

Ideal candidates hold a AVMA-accredited Vet Tech degree, CVT/RVT/LVMT credentials, and 1+ year of emergency experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; AVMA-accredited Vet Tech degree preferred
• CVT/RVT/LVMT credential in the state of practice is required
• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician; emergency medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, triage, treatments, and monitoring in emergency cases.
• Assist with anesthesia, diagnostics, and critical care nursing.
• Collaborate with doctors to plan and execute care.
• Support pet parents with empathetic communication.
• Perform CPR and advanced procedures as trained.
