BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an experienced Part-time Veterinary Technician for our busy Emergency and Critical Care department in Minnesota. You will work in a fast-paced environment, triage emergencies, assist with anesthesia, radiography, and patient care while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• CVT or veterinary credential preferred.
• Experience in emergency veterinary care is a plus.
• Comfort with high-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients.
• Triage emergency cases and obtain vitals.
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique.
• Interpret vitals and alert Veterinarian to changes.
• Administer medications and calculate dosages.
• Place IV catheters and feeding tubes.
• Mentor and train colleagues.
• Provide compassionate client communication.
