VEG in Tampa, FL is seeking a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You'll handle a wide range of emergencies, assist doctors, perform triage, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while remaining a calm, compassionate presence for pet parents.

This role requires AVMA-accredited veterinary tech training and state credentials, with 1+ year in emergency or specialty care.

Qualificações

• High school diploma; AVMA-accredited veterinary tech degree preferred.
• Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state.
• 1+ year emergency or specialty medicine experience.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 kg.

Responsabilidades

• Treat both patients and owners with care and respect through tests, treatments, and discharge.
• Provide nursing care, monitoring, and emotional support in critical moments.
• Administer meds, IVs, CRIs, and transfusions as needed.
• Assist with anesthesia and advanced diagnostics.
• Collaborate with team to keep care flowing.
• Utilize central lines, endoscopy, ultrasounds as available.
