Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ The Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA is seeking a Veterinary Technician Supervisor (Rotating Shift) to lead the medical staff and supervise the department, ensuring patient care standards and efficient operations.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. The role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a 24/7 emergency setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Registered Veterinary Technician licensed in good standing.
• 8+ years veterinary experience, with at least 3 years in an emergency or specialty hospital.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and supervise veterinary nursing staff.
• Schedule includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing.
• Collect and process work charts.
• Assist with entering in-patient charges and procedures in billing system.
• Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors.
• Process payments and monthly statements.
• Resolve escalated financial problems with clients and collect delinquent accounts.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on accounts receivable.
• Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Registered Veterinary Technician license (RVT)
