Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Regional Veterinary Referral Center in Springfield, VA seeks a Technician Supervisor (Rotating Shift) to lead medical technical staff and manage department scheduling. The role supports patient care standards and ensures efficient operation, working within a 24/7 emergency setting.

Ideal candidates have RVT/LVT/CVT license and 8+ years veterinary experience, including crisis settings, with strong leadership and communication skills, in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT/CVT) license in good standing.
• 8+ years Veterinary Experience, minimum 3 years in an emergency and/or specialty hospital.

Responsibilities

• Maintain processes for effective medical record keeping and billing.
• Collect and process work charts.
• Enter in-patient charges and/or procedures in the billing system.
• Ensure invoices are sent monthly and as requested by clients and doctors.
• Process payments and monthly statements.
• Resolve escalated financial problems with clients, including NSF checks.
• Monitor and report on accounts receivable.
• Prepare, print and mail invoice or statement copies for customers.
