Veterinary Emergency Group The PC in Henderson, NV seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Relief) to join our fast-paced ER team. You will participate in triage, treatments, anesthesia, and critical care nursing while delivering compassionate support to pets and their families.

This per diem role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth within a leading emergency veterinary network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; assoc. degree in veterinary technology preferred
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of practice is required; VTS in ECC/anesthesia a plus
• 1+ years of experience as a veterinary technician; emergency or specialty medicine preferred
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure; able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat patients from minor to critical emergencies
• Provide nursing care, administer treatments, and monitor anesthesia and vital signs
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and placing tubes
• Support doctors and team to ensure smooth care flow and strong caregiver presence
